04/07 Make and Take Day

Tammie is here again with some very cool new Make and Takes for you! Another spinner, and a beautiful plaid butterfly card! Choose one or do both! Plus, we always have lots of other projects to choose from!

04/02 Crop Day!

Grab a friend, or make new ones! Take over the classroom on Saturday, April 2nd.  It's Crop Day... use the dies, make cards, get caught up on those scrap pages... whatever you want.  It's just $5.00 and we will have pizza delivered!  

The fun starts at 11:00 am... you can stay until we close at 4:00pm. Hurry and save your spot! Space is limited so that everyone can spread out!!  :)

03/31 Make and Take Day!

Tammie joins us this week, and she will have a special Make and Take this Thursday! Learn how to make a Spinner Card!! To the moon and back!!  You won't be able to put it down.. they are so much fun! And, as always, we have lots of other projects to choose from.

Just stop by and join us in the classroom anytime between Noon - 4pm.  Or, swing by anytime and ask the person at the counter for a kit to take with you!

03/26 South Coast Family Harbor Fundraiser

Rishia Mitchell will be here on Saturday, March 26th teaching a class for an amazing cause! Make all these cards, and have lunch... plus, all the proceeds go to South Coast Family Harbor! Rishia will show you how to make all these cards from just one sheet of Designer/printed paper!

South Coast Family Harbor is a non-profit organization that helps prevent child abuse and neglect by using individualized community supports to strengthen high-risk families and keep children safe, healthy and ready to learn.

03/25 Gwen's Art Journal Club

Join Gwen and the girls this Friday evening for Journal Club! You can join at anytime! It's just $35.00 (if you are new, and need a journal), or $15.00 if you already have your journal.  The girls always have SO much fun getting all mixed media'd up!  We learn something new from Gwen every club!  

This week, she moved her class to Friday, March 25th.  Next month we will go back to the usual third Friday of the month. You choose from three Graphic 45 papers that you will collage on your page! 

In addition to your regular supplies, please bring:

• Gelatos or any background medium you would like
• Gesso
• Embellishments or stamps you like

02/24 Linda's "Out of The Box" Class

Have you purchased a Silhouette Cameo or Portrait machine and not used it? Is it still in the box? Well it’s time to “Get It Out of the Box”. Linda Miller is offering a class to help you get started. You will unpack your machine, learn where all the cords go, get the Studio software loaded and get your machine registered at Silhouette America. You will be able to turn it on and make sure it works, you’ll get everything upgraded, become familiar with the Studio software, learn how to load the cutting mat & blade assembly, download some free files, learn how to organize your images, and make your 1st cut!

You do have to bring the following to class:

If your machine is still in the box, bring in the whole thing. If not, make sure you have the machine, the Silhouette software disk, a skinny black cord with a chunky black rectangle and a power cord attached to the other end, a gray USB cable, a cutting mat, your blade assembly, your Getting Started booklet, and the download gift card from Silhouette. As well as a laptop computer with power cord, an extension cord, a few sheets of 8½ x 11” card stock, and a scraper or lifting tool.

You do need to be comfortable about how your laptop computer works – you’ll need to be able to: access files, know how to copy, cut, paste, & highlight an object; and be able to find available Internet servers & printers. If you are unsure of these skills or have any other questions – contact MOT and we’ll find a solution or an answer for you before class starts.

02/20 Crop Day Sign Up!

We've had some requests about Crops...... what is a crop?  It's basically a day where you come and scrapbook, stamp, create whatever you want! Grab a friend, spread out on the table, use the AccuCut dies and create! Get those holiday photos scrapped, make and album or make cards... truly whatever you want! We are reserving this day for you.... you get the entire classroom!!

Cost is just $5.00 (which includes pizza)... we have a refrigerator to use, bring whatever you'd like to drink.

This is a great way to spend the day with friends... make some new ones, get inspired... or finish up that project you've had laying around.

We hope you can come and play!!

02/19 Gwen's Art Journal Club

Wow... look what Gwen is doing this month at Art Journal Club! AMAZING!!  Gwen will be teaching you scenic stamping using Copic or dye based markers to create color and background. She will also be showing you the airbrush system, so please wear some grubby clothes!

Class is Friday, February 19th at 5:30 pm.
